Understanding Our Billing Policy
We operate under a mixed-billing model so that cost is never a barrier to quality care. Here's exactly what to expect before your visit.
Weekday Consultations
Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm. All GP consultations are bulk billed for eligible Medicare cardholders, no out-of-pocket cost. Simply bring your Medicare card and we handle the rest.
Saturday Consultations
Saturday, 10:30 am – 4:30 pm. A consultation fee applies, but you can claim a Medicare rebate. Our team will advise on costs when you book.
Specialised Treatments
Aesthetic medicine, IV nutrient therapies, and regenerative treatments are always privately billed, not included under bulk billing at any time.

Dr Choy provides comprehensive preventive care, chronic disease management and performance optimisation. Saturday appointments are privately billed to support the availability of our medical team during extended weekend hours. This allows us to maintain the high standard of boutique care our patients expect.
No. Specialized treatments, such as cosmetic injectables, skin boosters, IV nutrient infusions, and regenerative therapies—are strictly private services. These are not covered under the standard GP bulk-billing model.
To ensure every patient receives dedicated time and to minimize wait times, we highly recommend booking an appointment online via HotDoc or calling our medical clinic directly. Walk-ins will be seen based on doctor availability.
We understand that plans change. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 2 hours' notice. This allows us to offer the appointment to another patient in our community.
